Exciting Times Ahead with AEpdx:

As a multidisciplinary designer, I’m always looking for ways to connect with other creatives and build stronger communities. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined AEpdx (Animate Everything PDX) as a volunteer and organizer during an exciting revitalization phase.

For those who don’t know, AEpdx is a Portland-based group that brings together animators, designers, filmmakers, and visual storytellers to network, share, and learn. From its inception in 2009, AEpdx has been a hub for creativity, hosting events that inspire and educate the local animation and motion design community.

Now, the group is entering a new chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited to contribute. My role includes helping to rebuild the AEpdx website, giving it a fresh, modern look with the latest web interactivity tools to better serve our members and showcase the incredible talent in our community. Beyond that, I’ll also be working to drive momentum for our first big event of 2025, which I am absolutely thrilled to share with you.

We’re kicking off this revitalization with an incredible event featuring Joey Korenman, founder of the renowned School of Motion. Joey will be joining us on February 27th, 2025, at OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) for an inspiring evening of talks, presentations, and opportunities to meet other motion designers and animators.

For anyone in the animation, motion design, or visual storytelling world, this is a must-attend event. Joey has been a trailblazer in the field, and his insights and expertise have helped thousands of creatives elevate their craft. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others who share your passion.
